Museum Visit

We had a great time visiting the museum this week, we did a kite making activity. Thanks to the Mums that came and helped us. 

Bus trip

Aaron introduced the activity to us.  

First we used crayons to colour the kites.

We had to cover the kite in bright colours.

Then we painted over the colours using black paint.

Then we coloured the faces. 

Next we glued the faces to the kite shape and used toothpicks to scratch patterns on the kite.

Big thanks to Aaron at the museum we look forward to coming again next term.

Blind drawing this week we drew faces.

No peeking you guys!  We have to draw the pictures without looking, it's tricky! 

These guys buddied up and had to draw each other's faces.

When our leaf prints dried we got our sharpie pens and drew in the details to finish our autumn pictures.  

Mrs R, Dolina and a group of kids made pikelets on Thursday for cooking this week.  Thanks guys they were yummy.  Wonder what we will make next week?  

Our Portfolio's For Assessment went home on Thursday.  We are going to share these with our families.
