Week 5 Term 3

Hey everybody see what we have been up to in Room 14 this week.

Cody showed us how to plant the native trees in our forest.  

Room 3 and Room 14 buddied up to plant the trees.  

Q Bear had a go too! 

Cuzzies Corbyn and Lydia buddied up and planted a tree.

Week 4 Term 3

Yay it's Friday!  Find out what we have been up to in Room 14 this week.

This is a funny book we have been reading this week!  It's about life as a worm. 

Speaking of worms.  We helped Cody feed the worms for our worm farm.  

We wrote about our cress seeds.  They are growing fast! 

We did a sequencing activity on how to grow cress seeds. 

We made flower pictures with Mrs Williams and then we labelled parts of the plant. 

Lucy and Patience proudly show thier work.

The putty was a hit with everyone. 

We drew the food in our lunch boxes and wrote about them!  We are learning about healthy lunches. 

Week 3 Term 3

Hi from Room 14!  We have had lots of fun painting and gardening this week. Check out our pictures below. 

Kalani made a butterfly garden. We used Eric Carle books for inspiration.  

Awa made a flower garden

Karlos and I created an Autumn tree 

Tearing and cutting up our painted sheets to create our own pictures.  

As well as painting sheets in colour we used crayon and pastel to make our pictures more interesting!

Vann brought in lots of vegetable seeds for is to plant.  Thanks Vann I heard you were a good team leader! 

We went for a walk over the bridge to practice for our cross country run.

Week 2 Term 3

We have been learning about Edible Garfens this week in Room 14.  Look through our pictures to see what we have been doing.

Visiting our school garden to look for edible fruits and vegetables. 

Cleaning up our garden and being kind to our environment. 

We did a lot of weeding.  So we can create our own edible garden 

We wrote about what we found in our garden. 

We wrote sentences about our garden 

Our class garden is growing!

We planted kale seeds and we are going to watch them grow. 

Vann wrote labels for our seeds.
