Week 8 Term 2

Another busy week in Room 14 check out what we have been learning about this week.

We had a fire drill we crawled under the 'smoke' and went to our safe meeting place on the field.

Q bear has had a busy week too! Kaitiaki looked after Q Bear and took him to the library.

We rave been learning about the importance of keeping our teeth clean and healthy.  Don't forget to read your poem and use your new toothbrush.

Week 7 Term 2

Week 6 Term 2

Another busy week in Room 14!  We started off with a visit to the museum....


We created pictures about our Whanau. 

Aoatayea started school this week.  Welcome to Rm 14.  We love using the iPad to take pictures of our friends. 

Karlos took the iPad to the library and took photos of the kids.

Museum Visit

Today we visited the Gisborne Museum we learned about patterns in Maori culture. Thank you to Amber and the lovely mums who came and helped us. 

Amber talked to us about patterns in Maori culture. 

We traced over patterns and practised drawing our own designs.

Week 5 Term 2 Activities

We continue to be FireWise this week.  

We wrote about our pictures. 

Flame pictures. 

Shared reading "Did you Say Fire? 

Is it a tool or a toy sorting activity. 

More sorting.  We know the difference between toys and tools. 

These lovely girls made us sme scones during cooking!  Thanks you guys! 

Yummy we got to eat the scones.
